Roll-formed aluminum rolling shutters are vailable in standard sizes in the most popular colors on the market today. Almost all roll-formed aluminum rolling shutter slats are filled with PU foam, which provides a large part of the slats' stability.
Quality slats made of roll-formed aluminum are defined by the thickness of the band. When choosing the rolling shutter curtain, the architect or builder should confirm the offered strip strengths ratings. While the thickness of slats was a standard 0.50 mm 20 years ago, today the most common thickness you’ll find is only 0.30 mm which obviously means less structural strength. Heydebreck is one of the few manufacturers that still use the older standard that we know is what is required for quality shutters effectiveness.
The coating of the roll-formed aluminum slats must be durable, colour-fast and abrasion-resistant. That is why we only select our strip materials from the world's best aluminum suppliers in order to offer our customers the quality they can expect from a rolling shutter.
Our aluminum profiles impress with band thicknesses of 0.28 mm to 0.42 mm and corresponding PU foam filling.
