Roll-formed aluminum rolling shutters are supplied in standard quantities only in the colors known on the market. Almost all roll-formed aluminum roller shutter slats are filled with PU foam, which provides a large part of the slats' stability.
Quality rods made of roll-formed aluminum are initially characterized by the thickness of the band. When choosing the roller shutter curtain, the architect or builder should generally have the offered strip strengths confirmed. Unfortunately, the strength of the tape has been greatly reduced by many manufacturers in recent years. While the slats for new build roller shutters from all manufacturers were still 0.50 mm twenty years ago, today only a few roller shutter slats are supplied with the strip thicknesses that we know are required. Unfortunately, only 0.30 mm and below are usual.
The coating of the roll-formed aluminum rods must be durable, colour-fast and abrasion-resistant. That is why we only select our strip materials from the world's best aluminum suppliers in order to offer our customers the quality they can expect from a roller shutter.
Our aluminum profiles impress with band thicknesses of 0.28 mm to 0.42 mm and corresponding PU foam filling.
